Dear readers,
We have been working hard on getting the new series for the Aethercast through production. Currently our master musician, Churchwarden, is working hard on making my voice sound good as well as adding in dramatic music.
While that is going on we are also looking at making fictional and non-fictional commercials to add to the Aethercast. What these commercials are going to be for is adding a little Victorian flavor to the Aethercasts. So I am asking you good readers to please visit the forums here and post your suggestions and/or actual recorded commercial.
I am also glad to see more stories being added. Here is a sample of some of the stories recently added,
”Feeling both relieved and ashamed in equal measure, Ptulem left the High Temple by the servants’ entrance. A cage-wagon full of people rattled past him as he walked.
It was not always like this, he reflected. There had been a ban on technology and the practicing of Science for as long as he could remember, and people were always being taken away to be cleansed for their sins; that was a part of life in Pi. Rightfully so, he reminded himself. But the sheer amount of arrests, the papyrus flyers, the violence on the streets … things had changed dramatically over the past six years. He shivered. The Demiurge had become far more wrathful, if it were possible, than his old self.”
Excerpt from The Demiurge’s Demise by Snark MacQuarrie, Esq.
We also have an ongoing publication from Dr. Tobias Archer, a good colleague of mine. We of the Aethercast staff are also beginning to write a collective story, but more to come on that at a later time.
The story in a week contest, I have been toying with this idea for a while now and I believe we have developed a good enough base of writers and people interested to actually start this process moving. Please visit this link onto the forums for more information.
